  • Changed score so that values such as hit/dam and durations on affects are shown to all levels
  • Changed minimum stat roll in character generation to 12 to reduce rolling and really bad stats.
  • Changed code definition of newbie to mean player is "new to com" which is flagged by an imm or by selecting I am new to com in character generation.
  • Added a new lowbie definition which controls previous newbie benefits like free death, and mail and things.
  • Added wiznet thievery display for immortals
  • mud program fixes for quest support
  • Addition of newbiehelp channel for newbies and newbie helpers.
  • grab no longer gets item on failure

Code Updates 7/21/2010 - Version r140

  • Fix for reply to immortals with wizhide on.
  • Fixed autosplit so that characters become overburdened by too much gold and silver
  • Changed roam so that it does not allow roaming to characters with backtrack unless they are grouped or in the same clan (similar to how gate works)
  • Fixed a skinning so that mobs over level 50 will produce a level 50 skin which is therefor usable by tailors and can be saved on player files.

Misc. Improvements

- Changed reply parameters so mortals can reply to visible immortals.

- wiznet now displays resurrections and deaths

- fixed plague spreading and becoming a healing plague

- fixed a bug causing mobs to charge and attack when stunned with ranged weapons

-fixed bug with mob program damage function which caused a 5x damage multiplier to be applied to animorphed characters.

 

Thief Updates

- reduced improvement difficulty for trap skills

- reduced wait timer on circlestab

- increased number of attacks for circlestab

- added tripping to thieves list of skills at level 5

- made envenom work on weapons with other flags like sharp, etc.

- changed movement costs for thieves so that they can move in THIEF AREAS like rangers do in forest.

- removed old shadow attack skill and replaced with a new group based combat skill

- new shadow attack is a automatic attack from back row of group allowing the thief to sneak off in the chaos of combat and backstab their opponent.

- updated blackjack to work on paralyzed foes.

- Updated damage modifier on backstab

- Modified backstab to allow a second backstab when wielding two daggers

 

Cleric Updates

- Mass healing now will heal yourself as well as your group

- group healing spells are now castable/communable  during combat

- changed cure critical to 15 mana and group critical to 50 mana

 

Ranger Updates

- fixed bug with rangers causing sneak/backtrack and other movement affecting skills to not modify their movement.

Drachnor

  • Fix for stay_sector flag on mobs
  • Fix security error in mwhere
  • mystic weapon damage fixed
  • fixed typos and pronouns in diagnose action messages
  • fixed call lightning to hit people that cant aren't visible to caster
  • immortals are automatically turned wizi after being idle for a indeterminate time
  • added immortal command "idlewizi" to set the number of ticks before you are considered idle
  • modified immortal count command to show the date/time most players were online
  • added experimental code for displaying user statistics graphically on the website
  • fixed fishing foods that had fullness/hunger values reversed (causing full before hungry)
  • turned off knights and reavers in creation (classes are now by application only)
  • added color to warrant lists (person wanted is in bright yellow)
  • changed no climbing flag to allow climbing in a non-climbing sector type, or to disallow it in a climbing sector type.
  • Fix mobs with no mana dice to use "game standard"
  • Removed code based alignment change from spells, items and combat
  • added skill improvement chance when estimate succeeds
  • changed enervation and energy drain to be evil only spells

Sativa

  • Updated short description information in character creation.

  • fixed bug where mobs would sometimes target themselves in certain combat situations.
